Didn't he suffer (until the VERY END - much like Garnett) with a team of overachievers and still dominate?

But, I suppose one of the reasons he isn't on the list might have to do with how "nice" he was. If the admiral had the nasty of KG, I don't think there is anyway he isn't ahead of all but the top 5 in your list. He was one of the first "freaks" (muscle wise) in the NBA. I still remember being a teen curling weights to get the admirals "arms". Isaiah probably would have been honorable mention if he wasn't such a jerk. (The seminal Isaiah Lord Thomas III moment for me was when he led the Pistons off the court before time expired, refusing to shake hands with the Bulls after losing the series.) LeBron would have been higher if he hadn't taken his talents to South Beach. Wade probably belonged in honorable mention too, but when Shaq/LBJ aren't on his team, the Heat are terrible.

@Adrian - if only that were true.
Average viewership for the 2011 NBA Finals was 17.3 million.
Average viewership for the 2011 World Series was 16.5 million.Erik Ullestadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10107051442323025127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-869913311871017280.post-19109792786453778582011-11-09T11:30:30.835-06:002011-11-09T11:30:30.835-06:00Very funny post. But I don't know where they'd go.

If Malone's stint with L.A. effected your opinion of him, how does "The Big 3" effect your view of Wade & LeBron? I leave out Bosh because I don't think he'll ever be on a list of greatest anything.Eric Clapphttp://ericclapp.orgnoreply@blogger.com
