My family I moved to Pleasant Hill two years ago and are in process of finding a church home on the eastside. It has been difficult (some of that may be due to me currently being an interim pastor as well). I have some different criteria, but can resonate with the struggle.
Then there's the saying "if you find a perfect church, don't go because you'll just screw it up."
Jones' reply was pretty good - he took away any excuse not to try a church this weekend.
Thanks for weighing in, Shane. My friend (and former pastor) just had to go through the church-shopping phase. It was the first time he had done that in his entire life. I hope you and your family find a church you can call "home"!
